Meet our team

Alison is a very welcomed new addition to the team here at Miltown. After graduating from UCC in 2012, Alison gained valuable medical experience in Cork, Limerick and Clonmel. Following completion of her Basic Specialist Training, Alison qualified as a GP in 2020. Prior to joining the team in Miltown she worked as a GP in Newmarket on Fergus. Alison has a special interest in womens health, geriatric medicine, paediatrics, and mental health. A proud Clare native, Alison is very involved in her local Clarecastle community as a busy mum of 2 and member of the Clarecastle Community Choir.

Dr Alison Farmer

Dympna worked alongside Dr Billy as a GP registrar in 2019 and so it is wonderful to have her back in the practice again. A native of Mullagh, Dympna will be a familiar face to many and brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice, with a special interest in women’s health, palliative care (EPEPC) and clinical education. Dympna is an avid runner, and when not at work she enjoys athletics, gaelic football and music.

Dr Dympna O’Dwyer

Marie will be well known to many in the practice, having worked alongside Dr Billy since 1991. With a wealth of experience in all areas of practice nursing, Marie has a special interest in antenatal and postnatal care, cervical screening, asthma and chiropody. A native of Mullagh, Co. Clare, Marie can pour the perfect pint and will always have a great story to tell!

Marie Conway

Registered Nurse

Marie will be well known to many in the practice, having worked alongside Dr Billy since 1991. With a wealth of experience in all areas of practice nursing, Marie has a special interest in antenatal and postnatal care, cervical screening, asthma and chiropody. A native of Mullagh, Co. Clare, Marie can pour the perfect pint and will always have a great story to tell!

Suzie joined the team in 2021 following many years of experience in the maternity hospital. Originally from the Crosses of Annagh, Suzie decided to work closer to home and we are delighted to welcome her to the practice. Suzie has a special interest in antenatal and postnatal care, cervical screening and chronic disease management. When not busy at work, Suzie enjoys walking, swimming, and minding her 5 children!‍

Registered Nurse/Midwife

Suzie joined the team in 2021 following many years of experience in the maternity hospital. Caroline has been a valued member of the practice since 2003. As part of our admin team, Caroline plays a vital role in liasing with patients and the medical staff. With experience in all areas of practice administration, Caroline will always ensure that the needs of the patients are met. A local of Ennistymon, Caroline is an active member of the Ennistymon Choral Society, and is a committed sea swimmer, rain or shine!

Caroline Kinch

Practice Manager

Caroline has been a valued member of the practice since 2003. As part of our admin team, Caroline plays a vital role in liasing with patients and the medical staff.
